DR. (MRS) VIVIAN NWOSU
DIRECTOR - SPECIAL DUTIES
Dr. (Mrs.) Vivian Nnonyelum Nwosu hails from Awka in Awka South Local Government Area, Anambra State. She holds B.A (Hons) English from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State in 1991. She bagged Masters in Public Administration (MPA) in 1995, Masters in International Relations (M.Sc Int’l Relations) in 2019 and Doctor of Philosophy (P.hD) in International Relations in 2024 from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State. She became an Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management in 2023. She had received UN Eminent Ambassador Award, Peace Ambassador Award and Doctoral Award on Oil and Gas and Anti Corruption and Transparency Unit, FMT Award of Excellence.
She was employed by the Federal Civil Service Commission as a Personnel Officer II SGL. 08 and deployed to Federal Ministry of Science and Technology in 1994. She rose to the position of a Director SGL. 17 in 2022. She performed multilateral and other administrative duties in Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Federal Ministry of Environment, Office of the Secretary to the Federal Government (OSGF), Federal Ministry of Finance.
Dr. (Mrs.) Vivian N. Nwosu served as Nigerian Adivser in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) for seven years where she represented Federal Ministry of finance in the Second and Fifth Committee. She represented Nigeria in the G77 5th Committee Delegation. She represented Nigeria through Federal Ministry of Finance in F15 Expert and Secretariat. She served as Desk Officer in various capacities in African Development Bank, AFRIX Bank, African Capacity Building Foundation, ECOWAS Bank and Common Wealth. She served as the Chairman on Local Content for Mambilla HEPP Finance Sub Committee. She served as Chairman, Protocol Sub-Committee, International Maritime Day Celebration.
She attended many short training courses including Leadership Training, Advanced Policy Formulation and Implementation Analysis; Regional Course on Techniques of economic and Financial Analysis; Monetary Policy and Fiscal Management; Financial and Economic Issues in Regional Integration; Achieving Zero Tolerance for Fraud and Corruption in MDAs Through Forensic Accounting and Auditing; Advance Protocol Event and Travel Management for Enhanced Corporate Image, and Inventory Management and Stock Verification.
She currently serves as Director Special Duties in Federal Ministry of Transportation.
