PERMANENT SECRETARY, TRANSPORTATION REITERATES COMMITMENT TO SERVICE OF HUMANITY

The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, has reiterated her commitment to service of Humanity.
She made this known today in her office, when the Executives of the Anioma Youth Congress paid her a courtesy visit and also presented her with an award in recognition of her service to humanity.
” As long as I have breath, we will keep doing the bit we can do to be able to impact our people,” she said.
Speaking further, Dr. Ajani, disclosed that about 132 Ika youths were empowered earlier this year and that another of such will commence soon.
Reacting to the encomiums poured on her for the rehabilitation of the hitherto moribund Itakpe-Warri rail line, Ajani said the honour was to the Federal Government and Ministry of Transportation, as she was but a part of the team that made it possible.
Dr. Ajani, further appreciated the Dein of Ika Kingdom, His Royal majesty , Benjamin Ikechukwu,  Keagborekuzi 1, for his approval that she be so honored and asked that her good wishes be extended to him..
Also, she charged them to remain focused in the pursuit of learning and not see politics as a means to an end.
Speaking earlier,  the President, Anioma Youth Congress, Kenneth Ehiogun, said the award was in recognition of her outstanding performance as a professional and for her unquenchable zeal to change lives through empowerment.
