The Director, Finance and Accounts, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Hassan Umar Babayo bows out of service after 35 years of meritorious service to fatherland amid encomiums from colleagues and friends.
Speaking at the occasion, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, described him as a professional that executed his tasks with utmost transparency, accountability and humidity.
Ajani, thanked the family for supporting their father, saying, “if you did not give him comfort at home, he would not have been effective as he was”.
For the children who were present at the occasion, the Permanent Secretary, called their attention to all the wonderful things that were said about their father and enjoined them to emulate and even surpass him.
Responding, the Celebrant, Hassan Umar, who was obviously overwhelmed thanked everyone, especially the Permanent Secretary who supported him to succeed.
